Tait Subler is a boutique brand consultancy that wanted to improve their existing website and use it as a tool to expand their customer base. Bust Out implemented a long-term search engine optimization strategy that involved a total website re-design and re-engineering. Tait Subler was interested in being associated with certain keywords such as “brand theme” and “creative brand strategy.”
When Bust Out started the project in mid 2006, the website had a Google PageRank of 0 (on a scale of 0-10) and was nowhere to be found in any of the major search engine results. After restructuring the markup and targeting an effective keyword density, the site achieved a PageRank of 4 and a number one position in Google's natural search results for the phrase “brand theme,” a top ten search result position for the phrase "creative brand strategy," and a top four position for searches on the extremely competitive keywords "brand strategy consulting."
